Sawnee Ridge Church blends traditional Methodist hymns together with modern Christian songs. Our weekly, special music from our congregation and local artists ranges across many styles including traditional, contemporary, bluegrass, southern gospel, folk, country and barbershop. Our Sawnee Ridge Ensemble performs about once a month, and from time to time, we have the men of the church, the women of the church, or the children of the church open our worship services with a favorite hymn or Christmas carol.

Music for All
Sawnee Ridge Ensemble
About once a month, the Sawnee Ridge Ensemble brings together aspects of a traditional choir with a more relaxed and fun mix of hymns and Christian music. Open to adults with music reading skills and experience. Rehearsals are on designated Thursday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Special Music
Sawnee Ridge is blessed to have many talented singers in our congregation who lead us in worship. From a cappella solos to bluegrass gospel songs, we are blessed to have a variety of styles and artists.
Guest Performances
We welcome performers from other churches, the local community, and sometimes Christian artists that are in town. If you are interested in sharing your talent to lead us in worship via music, please contact Janet Hummel at church@SawneeRidge.org.

About once a quarter, the men of Sawnee Ridge blend their voices to provide a baritone flair to the worship service. All men are invited to participate.

The women of Sawnee Ridge gather about once a quarter to lead our worship music with all their joy, warmth, and love. All women are invited to participate.
Youth & Children
Not to be left out, we occasionally have the youth group and children’s group assist with the service and lead our opening hymns. They always bring their joyful style and fun to the service. All youth and children are encouraged to participate.
